God has appointed something for everyone. Some people desire to break something that was not necessarily broken. By this I mean the good things you have already found in your life. You don’t necessarily need to get rid of them. God does not push you away from your situation! He does push you away from sin, but not the road he has called you to. No matter the circumstances God is capable. He will raise the dead in any situation. He will always be what he has always been. God is consistent and will always remain faithful no matter what. So don’t get disheartened with your circumstances. These are not the end of your story and are not the ultimatum on your life. With God everything is possible (Matthew 19:26) and even the shadow of death cannot get the better of you (Pslam 23:4).

Some people ask, ‘What is calling?’ or ‘What is my destiny?’

For the matters of calling; these are all questions which belong to God and his providence. In the passage above the word for calling is, κέκληκεν and it’s root, καλέω and means: I call, invite, summon, name. It is written in the past tense, so highlights the sense of “I have called.” This lines up with other scripture such as Jeremiah 1:5 where God knew each of us before we were even born. HE KNOWS US. Our destinies have always been with him. To truly understand what calling is we need to understand the nature of God. God is good, and he has good things in store for his people (Jeremiah 29:11). Also the word for ‘assigned’ is μεμέρικεν and means: to divide, distribute, share. God has people in all places doing sometimes very different things, however these things are not valueless. God in his wisdom works his master plan all across the earth without fault. Some people say missionaries are better or pastors are closer to God. However this is not the case each one simply has their own road to walk. Listen intently to God and seek him about these maters and you will find peace. Yes it’s not easy sometimes, but each has their road to complete. Complete it well, and complete it in victory!

This is tranquility with God.

Don’t get flustered by your circumstances. Wait on the Lord and he will provide you with the solution that you seek. Don’t get caught up in guilt; God will make a way where there is no way. Rest assured that God already knows of every situation that you will ever face before you face it. Therefore take the time to learn God’s rationale and find your victory through every passing matter. This is the tranquility with God. This is the life assured. This is the life of faith. This is Peace despite circumstance. ***Amen***
